Team One has to figure out who has it in for them when a military psychologist Dr Toth (Victor Garber) with the reputation of being a 'team breaker' is brought in to run their routine psych evaluations. In the evaluations, Dr Toth suggests that Wordy believes that the SRU job is the only thing he can do ,Spike isn't patching things up with his sick father since Lew's death, Sam and Jules still have feelings for each other that isn't going to go away and Ed doesn't have an outlet for his stresses, Then Ed gets a call from Sophie tellng him she's gone into labour but Ed can't leave until the evaluations are over. The episode ends as Spike goes home to his parents house where he and his sick father have a cold reception, Wordy goes home to spend time with one of his daughters under her bed in her room reading, Jules visits Sam at his apartment, and Greg gets called in with a talk with Commander Holleran and Dr Toth and Ed gets shot in the arm six times while rushing to be with Sophie.
